三總中暑防治中心多年來收治不少路跑中暑者,醫師表示,若排除環境熱指數過高因子,路跑中暑者都有一些共同因素,包括跑前一周熬夜、有段時間沒練跑、肥胖及路跑中水分補充不足等。醫師提醒參與路跑民眾,如果有這些容易引發中暑的因子,最好不要勉強參加路跑。三總中暑防治中心主任朱柏齡指出,許多路跑中暑者都表示跑前一周曾經熬夜,另外也有不少人是缺乏練習,曾有一位路跑中暑者因工作忙碌,整整有一個月都沒練習,就去跑半馬,而在這些中暑者中,又以男性居多,不少人自認年輕力壯,硬著頭皮下去跑,結果跑出了大問題。

新光醫院急診部主任王宗倫表示,路跑時水分補充很重要,前、中、後都要補充適量的水分,且最好補充含有電解質的運動飲料,如果只是補充水分,電解質不平衡,水分跑入細胞內,會造成器官水腫。補充水分需遵守1個小時不能超過1500cc的飲水量,避免造成低血鈉症,俗稱「水中毒」,如需大量飲水,最好喝含電解質的運動飲料或在水中加少許鹽份。朱柏齡表示,路跑訓練需循序漸進,若不習慣在熱天跑步,須有1至2周的「熱適應」訓練,穿著淡色、質輕、透氣的衣服,了解自己的極限,告訴自己以感覺最舒適、與平日練習時同樣的速度跑步,不要企圖在比賽中跑出個人最好成績,反而可能超出個人體能負荷,容易導致中暑。(中國時報),
