國際自由聯盟（Liberal International）主席Juli Minoves昨日拜會民進黨2016總統參選人蔡英文。Minoves表示，期待台灣2016年大選是一場公開、公正、透明的選舉；也期待蔡的參選，可以成為推動國際女性政治參與的契機。國際自由聯盟是一個由世界各地自由主義政黨結合的國際政治組織，其主席Minoves主席昨日拜會蔡英文，就國際自由聯盟與民進黨未來的合作，及推動台灣與世界的民主、自由與人權，進行討論。

Minoves表示，台灣民主是國際重要標竿，更是推動東亞民主進步的關鍵，期待台灣2016年的總統與立委大選是一場公開、公正、透明的選舉，再次向世界展現台灣對民主自由的堅持；他並期待蔡的參選，可以成為推動國際女性政治參與的契機。蔡英文說，她支持民進黨更積極地參與國際自由聯盟，對於全球民主自由與人權的提升，貢獻與分享台灣的經驗。昨雙方也討論總統大選的政策方向。蔡表示，民進黨的首要工作是要建立新經濟模式，促進台灣經濟創新，提升技術與研發，另也要解決人才外流的問題。蔡強調，任何政策的制定，都要謹慎地將各種因素納入考量，尤其要經過與人民對話討論的過程。(中國時報)，
